This year’s NCPA Annual Meeting agenda will include a look at the economic, environmental and technological issues surrounding greenhouse gas reduction policies at all levels, and explore the question of, “how do we get there from here?” Clearly, as policy development in this arena advances, at times it appears there are more questions than answers. Join us to delve into the solutions that may exist, and to explore how we can best address the challenges this important global environmental challenge presents to our industry, consumers and our communities.
This year’s meeting will be held at the Silverado Resort in Napa, California on September 24 – 26, 2008. Three hundred locally elected and appointed city officials, municipal utility managers, federal and state energy and public utility commissioners, and many special industry guests attend this annual event. Review our Draft Agenda and plan to attend!
The annual Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday morning, September 24th at the Silverado Golf Course. Registration and breakfast begin at 7:30am with a shotgun start at 8:30am.
Sponsorships for this event are the reason the meeting has evolved into a very successful and high quality event. An organization sponsoring $3,000 will receive one free registration to the Annual Meeting. If $5,500 is sponsored, two complimentary registrations will be given. Three complimentary registrations will be given to those who sponsor $7,000 and above. NCPA is a not-for-profit public agency and does not profit from the Annual Meeting. All contributions are greatly appreciated by all who attend.
