This year’s meeting was held at The Claremont Hotel in Berkeley, California on September 23 – 25, 2009. Two hundred locally elected and appointed city officials, municipal utility managers, federal and state energy and public utility commissioners, and many special industry guests attended this annual event.
Our Program included a look at the many important opportunities and challenges facing public power systems today. Policymakers, public power leaders and energy industry stakeholders addressed the nexus between climate policy, infrastructure and the economy, and how these factors can be aligned on behalf of a successful outcome for public power consumers at the local, state and national levels.

The annual Golf Tournament was held on Wednesday morning, September 23rd at the Tilden Park Golf Course.
