NCPA’s Public Benefits Committee serves as an association of NCPA member utility staff in charge of public benefits fund administration, pursuant to Assembly Bill 1890.  The group meets once each month in Sacramento.

Activities of the committee include:

• Preparation of an annual report details the use of public benefits funds,
• Coordination of energy efficiency reporting along with members of the Southern California Public Power Authority and the California Municipal Utilities Association,
• Exchange of information regarding energy efficiency, renewable energy, low-income, and research and development programs,
• Coordinates projects of mutual interest among group members, with administrative support being provided by NCPA.
