Healdsburg’s Electric Utility Department provides electric service to approximately 12,000 residents living in the heart of Sonoma County’s wine country. The electric utility is responsible for power procurement for the City, compliance with various state and federal regulatory requirements, and providing conservation and renewable energy programs for its customers. It is also responsible for the operation and maintenance associated with the reliable distribution of electricity to residential and commercial customers through the City’s interconnection with PG&E’s transmission line at Healdsburg’s Badger Electric Substation.
